J5 Collection

His face is on a thousand t shirts and forever in our hearts.
There have been countless DVD’s, and parties held in his honour since his passing, but this is the first time a clothing range has been released, by the Jackson’s themselves in homage of Michael.
He started trends the world over simply by leaving one glove off.
He made white socks cool again.
He pulled off striped pants, dark shades and glitter like no other.
He was the epitome of cool…the legend that is Michael Legend.
That red leather jacket can be identified in a heart beat
The inspiration for countless fancy dresses, Halloween and stage shows
There is little wonder the remaining clan have formed together to release their first Official clothing range.
It’s a little surprise this hasn’t happened sooner, but in the wake of the recent anniversary since MJ’s death it seems a perfect way for fans to hold on to their own piece of the megastar.
The Thriller inspired jacket is my favourite and I can wait to get my paws on the funky fresh combo of the little rock, chic, biker, ‘beat it’ girl onsomble.
This man definitely knew how give a common outfit its own edge.
Michael unintentionally wore one glove to an awards night in the late 80’s, later saying he simply forgot to put the other one on and liked the way it looked so he kept doing it. Little did he know it would become his trade mark and one of the most recognisable fashion statements the world over.
One of my all time favourite things ever is the Red thriller Jacket.
I know many of you share the same Goosebumps sensation at the thought of it.

The brother’s started work on the line only weeks after Michael’s death.
Now not only can we keep him in out memory with all his albums and posters, we can carry forth his smooth criminal ‘tude’ with our own Jackson get up.

Russian Dolls

Ok so Russia did well with the whole Vodka thing, but they aint bad on the fahion slopes either.

Check out some of the get up from Russian Vogue's Septemer Issue

Man o man....that Leopard print Jacket is RIDICULOOOUSSS, the chained rimming and dolloped on gold buttons, give it edge and spunk. It seems versitle too in regards to age, something a 20 to a 50 something could embrace. I would love to see this, over a hot pink dress or own its own as an outfit with Khaki wedges. This would look hotty hot with orange or matt musk coloured lipstick.
speaking of adding something to throw them off in order to score- the bag in the top right could make any outfit, suit day and evening, and hold all your goods and pieces of your soul in that thing..its all in the feathers- Its got a Lenny Kravitz, American Indian feel to it.
Another throw them off moment is in the pic in the top left.
The All American, 50's Betty baker outfit is killed with a little help from our fellow animals.
The leather belt and glove give her 'tude' and the fur makes the outfit stronger and striking. take that off and she could walk threw the bank almost un noticed, but with this extra layers, all eyes are on this sexy lady. Fashion has no rules. I love it but im not condoning aniaml hunting!
;)

Yello Brick Rodeo...

Yellow I will follow- it's bright and leads you to the Wizard
Rodeo Drive I will cruise brushing against Tom Ford, Manolo and Versace

This title epitomizes my fashion taste. Fashion is fun, it should be bright, comfty, luxurious, pricy and affordable. It should be an echo of your truth or a simple parade of your chic taste.
It should tease and evoke gasps, be some what spiritual and reflect the type of energy you want to give out.

People I marvel like Kate Moss, Erykah Badu, Elle Macpeherson,Gwen Stefani, Kelis,Chanel Iman and Nicole Richie- all totally different, all real in their ode to fashion.
I want my blog to be about fun fresh quircky fashion. As music is my first love I will follow musicians and fashion inspired by Idolized faces- but what I really want is to point out the bits people miss. The subtle difference varying styles in the one outfit can bring out.

HOT n FUN much like Pharrel Williams and Kelis, quickly donest have to mean indy, way out, Gaga, Bjork moments- simply mixing up what is already there...
I will follow local, MElbourne and abroad, overseas, celebrites, Russia, U.S, Asia and Japan...

Growing up I was loving Madonna, Spice Girls, The Beatles and Dennis Rodman..
Basketball, and faries- this random play freeing me from sterotype of genres- could perhaps explain my eclectic style in not only my music but fashion...Sometimes I suprise myself with what I'm attracted to. I love tie died as much as Timberland boots. I love Gucci bumbags, and beaten up hemp slouches...Tsubi jeans and Ganesh glittered prints..
I use to be known for my outfit changes as a young ages, redressing at least 3 times a day and I have been dressing myself since about the age of 5.
Friends of mine now are actaully amazed at how quickly I get ready. The key is do your hair and make up first in your comftys, then throw on your outfit justtttt before you walk out the door. That way there is no time for change of mind. Take a shall rather than a jacket so you can just tie it round your bag. When clubbing I chuck a singlet in my bag as you never know when and why you may need to change your top. (heat, beverage spilling, impromptu sleep over)
I will also keep a blog of moments before an outing to enstil my preached efficiency in getting ready

When I dress I like simple- but people revert to simple as boring or plain. Nope. When I say simple I mean you dont need a whole heap of accersories, I dont like busy, too much print, belts, a heap of necklaces, if I layer I layer to keep warm, or to hold a certain style. I'm known to wear long sleeve under a singlet, jumpers with wholes and paint stains, and I always go for the mens tees and singlets. They are more flatering, softer and often have better prints.
I get around in gym clothes paired with anklets on both feet

I phene for basics
Denim shorts
Leggins have been my best friend over winter
Hot pink stelettos and a over sized Hoody as a dress

I think what makes my taste different is the way I mix looks

A slight twist adds the world of difference and sets me apart..my Disel bag I make my own simply by adding a breast cancer badge. My nikes are the most rare version you can get, and I buy them later from outlets so they have lost their known hype by the time I wear them
Number one I have to be cofty
Never too busy
I love to clash
I make it work
Im always confident in my outfits
I do labels, as quickly as I do supre
Ill mix hippy chick with hip hop
Ill wear a studded top hat and basketball jersey
Nikes and a off the shoulder floral shirt
Double denim- (in different shades)

All my girlfriends will have dresses on and Ill be at the bar in the Nan's pink sweater
A flanel shirt with a trucker cap, gym shorts and wedged heels.
I do it because I can, because its fun and its still comfty.
The only time I wear something slightly uncomfortable is if I HAVE to depending on the occasion- or for work related moments.
I love cutting clothes, tucking, and ripping. 70's and 80's influnces I adore.
Don't get me wrong many a moment has my earnings gone back into fashion, and if I had the funds I would deck myself out it all the crazy Vogue moments but I have to keep it real.
My blog will follow both my world, what I wear, buy and like...and also the celebrities and higher fashion pieces that have spice and life in them...to either inspire you clever kids that can make you own clothes. Or simply throw easy but effective ideas out to you. Keep it or throw it away. Whatever you do love love your get up and the way that you move...
Fashion is a bit of you, a bit of fun...endless, much like lifes optimum array of choice...
It should suprise, give off energy and make your body feel good
how much better is it when you go for the mixed juice with ginger and suppliments, than plain old orange....
Apple, purple, cotton, daisies, bling, gloves, fur and stripes, hair beads...
Let us now go play in the wardrobe of the Universe...
